If this rental is available during your desired dates, grab it! The location is perfect. You are secluded enough to have complete privacy, and you are set high above the city to enjoy all the sights. We loved sitting on the back deck rocking chairs and listening to the distant train move through the city. This house is a great central location to easily explore the surrounding areas. Definitely visit Little River Canyon National Preserve. Also, drive over to Mentone and have lunch/dinner at the Wildflower Cafe. Last but not least - the beds are so comfortable. Thank you, Quincy, for the great communication and recommendations.

Wow.
The views were wonderful, from inside and outside, even while all you could see was mist of being in the clouds.
Hot tub was amazing.
Very Clean, comfy beds & bedding 😊

This was an absolutely beautiful home with amazing views! The hosts were super responsive and helpful. We would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a peaceful, quiet, and romantic getaway! We will definitely be back!

Our weekend getaway was fantastic. We loved the cabin and awesome view! Hot tub was an added plus. Everything was so cozy and peaceful. Very clean and comfortable bed!! The host recommended for us to try Southern Harvest for a great steak and it did not disappoint. There are also other great restaurants near by. We enjoyed the cabin being close to downtown Fort Payne and also near beautiful waterfalls in DeSoto Park and gorgeous views along Little River Canyon. We highly would recommend staying here.

We enjoyed our weekend away. The views were beautiful and it was very peaceful too. We had a nice hike at Desoto State Park + a fun day walking around downtown Fort Payne during their holiday open house celebration. We will def return!

This is by far the nicest place I have ever stayed. Everything was perfect. The view was gorgeous. It was so relaxing. It is modern, simplistic, but luxurious at the same time. The hosts thought of everything. There wasn't a single thing that we would change about the place. They have everything you need in the kitchen and bathrooms and bedrooms. I can't say enough. We will, without a doubt, be going back several times a year.

We spent 3 nights here and it was lovely. The mountain view was spectacular each evening at sunset. We enjoyed the pink/orange/red sky from the hot tub :). Everything is spotlessly clean, the bed was comfortable and living room seating easy to lounge on. Excellent communication with hosts- pay attention to the driving directions give- Waze stopped us short of the property as Quincy predicted, but we arrived w/o difficulty as we followed his instructions. There was more than adequate parking & room to turn vehicle around. The kitchen seemed adequately stocked, but we didn’t do a lot of cooking. This is a brand new property & we appreciated the lack of Knick-nacks collecting dust…that is a personal preference though :). Showers were great, they have thought of the things renters need. Would highly recommend.
