If this rental is available during your desired dates, grab it! The location is perfect. You are secluded enough to have complete privacy, and you are set high above the city to enjoy all the sights. We loved sitting on the back deck rocking chairs and listening to the distant train move through the city. This house is a great central location to easily explore the surrounding areas. Definitely visit Little River Canyon National Preserve. Also, drive over to Mentone and have lunch/dinner at the Wildflower Cafe. Last but not least - the beds are so comfortable. Our weekend getaway was fantastic. We loved the cabin and awesome view! Hot tub was an added plus. Everything was so cozy and peaceful. Very clean and comfortable bed!! The host recommended for us to try Southern Harvest for a great steak and it did not disappoint. There are also other great restaurants near by. We enjoyed the cabin being close to downtown Fort Payne and also near beautiful waterfalls in DeSoto Park and gorgeous views along Little River Canyon. We highly would recommend staying here.
